HVAC TECHNICIAN RECRUITMENT BRIEF

Job Capital is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician on behalf of a client in Perth, Western Australia. The role involves attending sites to complete breakdown and repair work, managing planned preventative maintenance requirements and supporting junior technicians and apprentices.

POSITION DETAILS

Position title: HVAC Technician
Industry: Commercial HVAC and refrigeration services
Location: Perth, WA
Direct reports: Service Manager and Field Service Supervisor
Employment type: Full Time
Salary: $130,000–$195,000 per annum

ROLE PURPOSE

Work alongside the Service Manager and Field Service Supervisor to complete breakdown and repair work, control and report on planned preventative maintenance sites, and provide technical support to less experienced team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive to sites to carry out breakdown and repair work.
• Control and report on planned preventative maintenance sites.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
• Undertake weekend and evening on-call work as required.
• Participate in the on-call roster.
• Assist with mentoring apprentices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience working in a similar role.
• Strong technical background in HVAC.
• Good work ethic and enthusiasm.




• Relevant trade certificate or qualification.
• Valid refrigeration licence.
• Restricted electrical licence.
• Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Valid Western Australian driver's licence.
• Valid Australian working rights or sponsorship opportunities.
