The team coordinates the maintenance, repair and management of hospital beds and clinical equipment, ensuring essential resources remain available and operational to support patient flow and clinical services.
Working in collaboration with clinical teams, contractors and stakeholders, the CEU contributes to effective hospital operations within the largest referral hospital in Far North Queensland.

Support the coordination of repair and maintenance activities by raising work orders, assisting with purchase order requests, logging quotes and parts, and allocating tasks to approved contractors in line with procurement and governance requirements.
Track and monitor the progress of bed repair and maintenance activities, escalating delays, safety concerns or issues to the Bed Coordinator or relevant stakeholders as required.
