Duties and responsibilities: Review current extracurricular arrangements across two campuses, identifying inconsistencies, gaps and compliance risks.
Consult with key stakeholders to understand operational requirements and current practices.
Develop a consistent framework for engaging employees, contractors and volunteers, including remuneration and recognition arrangements.
Review recruitment, screening, onboarding, supervision and offboarding processes.
Assess employment, industrial relations, child safety, WHS, taxation and risk management considerations.
Evaluate existing staff involvement in extracurricular activities, including coaching and supervision responsibilities.
Develop practical recommendations to improve governance, record keeping, payment processes and compliance monitoring.
Manage project timelines, milestones and stakeholder updates,



reporting directly to the Head of People Strong knowledge of Australian employment and industrial relations frameworks; Experience in a school or college, with an understanding of compliance, risk and child safety in a school environment.
Experience reviewing complex workforce arrangements and developing practical HR frameworks, policies and governance processes; Demonstrated project management capability, including delivering outcomes within tight timeframes; Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement and written communication skills; Experience with employee, contractor and volunteer engagement models, including remuneration and honorarium arrangements would be highly desirable Experience undertaking employment compliance or workforce governance reviews.
