ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced and enthusiastic individual to join Council's road construction team. Reporting to the supervisor, the position of Ganger provides high level onsite assistance to monitor and supervise a small team of employees to deliver quality road construction activities, including earthworks, pavement surfacing, drainage and concreting.

Proven experience and ability to perform a range of road construction and maintenance functions, including earthworks, pavement, drainage and concrete work.




Demonstrated ability to motivate and supervise a team.
Proven experience in the operation of various plant items including basic mechanical knowledge.
Proven valuable communication skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrated good customer service skills with the ability to communicate with the community in a qualified and courteous manner.
The rewards
A salary range of $65,700 to $75,600 per annum (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills and experience.
