Sanctuary Early Learning Centre – Fletcher NSW
Family Coordinator
Sanctuary Early Learning Centre | Fletcher NSW
Could you be the person who makes families feel that they belong?
We believe a excellent early learning service is about so much more than care and education.
It is about
relationships, connection, belonging and creating a place where children, families and educators genuinely feel at home.
We are looking for a warm, capable and highly organised
Family Coordinator
to become an significant part of our leadership team.
This is a diverse and rewarding role for someone who enjoys people, organisation, problem-solving and making things happen. You will be the welcoming face of our centre for many of our families while also playing an important role in the smooth, compliant and successful operation of our service.
Our Family Coordinator is a key link between
families, educators, administration and the wider community
.
About Us
Sanctuary is a privately owned early learning centre in Fletcher, providing education and care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years.
We are deliberately different.
Our purpose-built centre includes individual spaces for separate age groups, dedicated area leadership, high staffing ratios and spaces designed to inspire curiosity, connection, play and a genuine love of learning. We believe a big centre can still feel like a small community.
Our culture is built around relationships. We want every child to experience a supported, positive and individualised learning journey—and we know that starts with having a skilled, committed and cohesive team around them.
Reasons you'll love this role
1. Your work genuinely makes a difference
You won't simply be sitting behind a desk processing paperwork.
You will build relationships with families from their very first enquiry, support them through enrolment and orientation,

help them navigate CCS and Centrelink, connect them with community resources and become a familiar and trusted person they can turn to.
You will help create the experience that makes a family say:
"We are so glad we chose Sanctuary."
2. A role with variety, influence and autonomy
No two days will look exactly the same.
From occupancy and enrolments to family communication, events, newsletters, social media, website updates, administration, accounts receivable, centre presentation and operational planning—you will have the opportunity to use your organisational skills, professional skills/training, initiative and creativity every day.
You will also work closely with the Nominated Supervisor and leadership team to support the smooth operation of the service and help shape the experience we provide to children and families.
3. Join a centre that genuinely values its people
We believe
a good example is more valuable than good advice
.
Our leaders are expected to model the culture they want to create. We value honesty, kindness, accountability, professional growth, teamwork and the courage to speak up and advocate for children.
We want people who make a positive difference simply by being part of the team.
The person we're looking for
We are looking for someone who is:
Cert III or Diploma qualified, this helps ensure you understand the experience of our team and families .
Warm, approachable and genuinely enjoys building relationships with families.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Confident managing administrative, financial and operational responsibilities.
A strong communicator who can have difficult conversations respectfully and professionally.
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
Able to prioritise competing demands without losing sight of what matters most.
Confident using technology, digital platforms and administrative systems.
Creative and enthusiastic about family engagement and community connection.
Passionate about early childhood education and the difference our sector makes.
Someone who notices the little things and takes pride in presentation.
A natural problem solver who looks for solutions rather than reasons why something cannot be done.
A positive role model who contributes to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and committed to ongoing learning and professional growth.
Most importantly, we are looking for
the right person
.
Someone who understands that every email, phone call, enrolment, conversation, event and interaction contributes to a family's experience of our service.
If this sounds like you
If you are organised but still love people.
If you can manage a spreadsheet and a difficult conversation.
If you notice when something needs doing and simply get it done.
If you believe that families deserve to feel welcomed, supported and heard.
If you can bring calm, humour and a sense of joy to a busy day.
If you believe that the little things matter.
If you want to be part of a team that is constantly learning, reflecting and trying to be better.
We would love to hear from you.
Come and be part of a centre where
relationships come first, curiosity is encouraged and there is always room for a little wonder and laughter.
