About the role
Lumus Imaging is seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join their dynamic healthcare team at our Highfields site in Port Macquarie.
This role is a maternity leave contract ****** months) and can be offered as either full time or part-time (4-5 days per week), with working hours 8am-4.30pm.

This role would suit best for a Medical Radiation Science Student.
What you'll get to do
Assist technical staff in asking patients critical questions and obtaining their medical history
Assist in preparing and positioning patients undergoing MRI, CT and ultrasound examinations




Work collaboratively with the radiography team to deliver exceptional patient care

Skills and Experience
Ability to work in a team environment, within a hospital environment
Empathetic and clear communication skills
Availability for extended trading hours and weekends
Ability to assist patients with additional needs
Keen interest in medical imaging, with students of Radiography encouraged to apply
