Escarpment Physio is a small community based physiotherapy practice specialising in neurological and older adult care. We're seeking a full time or part time Community Physiotherapist to work closely with clients in their homes and everyday environments. In this role, you'll make a real difference by helping people stay mobile, capable, and independent in ways that are meaningful to them.

Escarpment Physio is locally owned and operated in Wollongong, providing community based physiotherapy throughout the Illawarra. We work closely with people living with neurological conditions and age related changes, we have a strong emphasis on care that is practical, engaging, and genuinely helpful in everyday life.
Our approach is simple — treatment is guided by what's best for the client. We don't work to billable targets or KPIs, so clinicians can concentrate on delivering care that is considered, individualised, and genuinely helpful.
We are committed to supporting your growth as a clinician, offering structured mentoring and clinical guidance with 2–3 hours per week of protected time dedicated to supervision, learning, and case based discussion. This position is suited to either an experienced clinician or new graduate. Recent graduates will join a structured mentoring program featuring both internal and external and mentoring and professional development.
We offer a flexible and supportive working environment, where you can choose your own hours and work remotely. There are no after hours or weekend requirements. This role is designed to support autonomy, reduce burnout, and promote a sustainable, enjoyable career in community physiotherapy.
What you'll be doing




Supporting clients to improve day to day function and maintain independence to remain at home.
Educating and supporting clients, families, and support networks so they feel confident and involved in the rehabilitation process
You'll work across a range of funding streams including Support at Home, NDIS, DVA, and private clients, offering genuine variety and diversity in your caseload.
What we're looking for
Registered as a Physiotherapist in Australia, with **** new graduates welcome to apply.
Passion for working in geriatric and neurological rehabilitation, with a commitment to supporting clients with varied and changing needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families from diverse backgrounds
Friendly, collaborative approach to working with clients, colleagues, and support networks
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle to travel safely to client's homes

2-3 hours weekly mentoring & support
