Duties
As an Excavator Operator/ HR Truck Driver, your key responsibilities will be:
Safely and efficiently operate trucks to transport materials, equipment and plant machinery to and from construction sites.
Operating small excavators between 1.7T – 8T as required




Conduct pre‐operational vehicle checks.
Comply with all applicable traffic laws, safety requirements and company policies.
Load and unload materials and equipment safely, ensuring loads are correctly balanced and restrained.
Maintain accurate delivery records using our internal tracking applications.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Perform routine vehicle checks and promptly report any defects or damage.
Meet required delivery schedules and project timelines.
About You
Current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence.
Minimum two years' truck‐driving experience within the construction or civil industry.
Experience operating 5-8 T excavators desired
Excavator competencies and/or VOC
OHS Construction Card (White Card) or willing to obtain.
Willing to undergo pre‐employment drug and alcohol screening
Strong knowledge of relevant transport regulations.
Excellent time‐management skills.
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining our fleet.
