Position Information Port Hacking High School has a diverse student population with robust connections to its local community. The school provides a balanced education for all students, with a focus on academic achievement along with extra-curricular opportunities in sport and the creative and performing arts. The school enrolment consists of 950 students, 25 Aboriginal and 30 % from a non-English speaking background. Specific Selection Criteria




Approval to teach DAT Design and Technology; ITD Industrial Technology – Multimedia/Photography; ITX Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8)and; IST Information and Software Technology
Demonstrated ability to manage safe, active practical learning environments that foster inclusive learning and promote student engagement.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of the TAS team to design and deliver dynamic and engaging teaching and learning programs and assessment, which challenge and support students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students and parents.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
