Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join the Women's Care Unit on a contract basis, starting as soon as possible through to 22 November ****. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy maternity service in regional NSW, supporting women and families through pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period. You'll work alongside an experienced midwifery team in a supportive clinical workplace.

Deliver direct midwifery care across the full scope of maternity services
Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience in midwifery practice,



including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a maternity setting
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication skills and a woman-centred approach to care
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
Current CPR and emergency resuscitation certification
Experience in a hospital-based maternity unit or similar acute care setting
