Our client is looking for Sidekicks to join their existing teams of Freight Handlers at their Brisbane Airport location. Please note this work may be manual very labour intensive.
We are building a talent pool as we will be getting busier in the coming weeks and over summer and there will regular shifts available.
Key responsibilities
Manual sorting of parcels
Loading parcels onto conveyers
moving stock from pallets and placing into crates or onto conveyor
Loading and unloading trucks and containers
Packing ULD cages
Use of a manual pallet jack and RF scanner
PM Shifts: Start times will be between 3pm - 6pm , for a 6-8 hour shift.
Rate:$ ***** per hour + super
Inductions will be during the 1st week of November
Requirements
A valid police check obtained within the last 12 months
Drug and Alcohol Test
Online Induction Training
YELLOW Hi-vis vest with reflective stripes and steel capped boots
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
Ability to lift up to 20kgs on a consistent basis, and to be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Willingness to follow all COVID-19 safety guidelines and recommendations
Enthusiasm, and unafraid of hard work!
Wiilling to undergo a full medical test including drug and alcohol testing
