We'relookingforanexperiencedLiDARprofessionaltostepintoaSeniorTechnicalLeadrolewithourLiDARProductionteaminAdelaide.Inthishands-onleadershiprole,you'lloverseepre-processingandpost-processingacrossthefullLiDARproductionworkflow,ensuringalldeliverablesmeetorexceedAustralianstandardspecifications,includingICSMandASPRSaccuracyclassifications.

Astheteam'stechnicalauthority,you'llsettechnicaldirection,establishbest-practicemethods,'llalsoworkcloselywithprojectmanagementandclient-facingteamstokeeptechnicaloutcomesalignedwithprojectspecifications,timelinesandclientexpectations.

KeyResponsibilities n

Providehands-ontechnicalleadershipofLiDARproduction,includingtrainingandmentoringteammemberstobuildcapabilityacrosstheAdelaideteam.

OverseeandundertakeLiDARpre-processing:GNSSprocessingandpositionalaccuracyassessment,rawextractionandvalidation,stripalignmentandaccuracyassessment,anddatatiling.
n
OverseeandundertakeLiDARpost-processing:pointcloudclassification,classificationQAandmarkup,generationofderivedproducts(e.g.DEM,DSM)withassociatedQA,datamanagementandprojectreporting.

ReviewandapproveQA/QCresultsanddeliverables,providingcorrectiveguidancewherecalibration,classificationorderivedproductsfallshortofspecification.

Ensureoutputsmeetproject-specificandnationalLiDARspecificationsbeforedelivery,escalatingnon-conformanceswherestandardscannotbemet.
n
DevelopandmaintainSOPsandworkinstructionsforpre-processingandpost-processingworkflows.
n
Drivecontinuousimprovementofproductionworkflows,toolsandmethodologies.
n
ActasLiDARtechnicalleadfortheDataEngineeringTeamonsoftwaredevelopmentprojects.

Advisesales,flightoperationsandprojectmanagementonproductioncapability,capacity,feasibilityandtimelinesacrossallthreeproductlines.

Providetechnicalinputintoproposalsandtenders,includingscopingproductioneffort,capturerequirementsanddeliverytimelinestosupportaccuratepricing.

WorkingknowledgeofICSMGuidelinesforDigitalElevationDataandASPRSaccuracystandards.
