What we are looking for
We have an opportunity for a motivated Legal Assistant to join our busy Victorian insurance (motor vehicle) litigation practice group on a casual basis in our Melbourne office.




You will work closely with our lawyers to provide administrative and file support across a busy legal practice.
Your duties will include:
opening and maintaining files;
preparing and filing legal documents;
managing correspondence and electronic filing;
assisting with court documents and service;
answering calls and client enquiries; and
general administrative support.
This is a great chance for a law student looking to gain practical experience in a legal environment.
We are looking for a candidate who:
is able to manage a high volume of files and tasks
has previous experience in motor vehicle recoveries - however, this is not compulsory! We are prepared to provide comprehensive training to the right candidate!
has high-level communication and client relationship skills
has a strong work ethic, is motivated and willing to learn
is able to work independently
has excellent attention to detail
is able to manage their time effectively and efficiently.
