Reporting to the Head of Marketing at Muscle Nation HQ in Brisbane. This is a 9 month contract, with the potential to extend or move into another role in the team at the end of the term.
You'll run organic social for Muscle Nation and lead the team that makes it. You'll own TikTok and three Instagram accounts (Main, Food and Mens), covering strategy, content calendar and account performance.
This is a hands-on role where you'll film, edit and appear on camera yourself. You'll take a handover, learn the brand quickly and keep the team moving without a long settling-in period.
Key responsibilities
Own the organic social strategy for TikTok and three Instagram accounts, with a clear purpose for each account
Build and run the content calendar around collection drops, product launches, sales and campaigns
Balance brand-building content with content that supports launches and sales
Report on performance weekly and monthly, and use the results to decide what to make next
Keep across platform changes, trends and what other brands are doing well, and adjust the plan when needed
Manage the Social Media Specialist and Social Media Coordinator, including priorities, workload and regular one-on-ones
Review content before it goes live and give specific, useful feedback
Run weekly planning and ideas sessions with the team
Film, edit and appear in content yourself, particularly for launches and bigger moments
Work with Partnerships to plan and post content with athletes and creators
About you
Four or more years in social media, ideally with a consumer brand in fitness, fashion, beauty or food




Experience managing organic social for accounts with a large, active audience
Experience leading people, whether as a manager or as the senior person in a team
A strong record of growing reach and engagement on TikTok and Instagram, with results you can talk through
Confident filming and editing short-form video yourself, in CapCut or Premiere Pro
Comfortable on camera
Strong writing skills and a valuable ear for brand voice
Confident with platform analytics and reporting
Experience running a content calendar for a business that launches products often
Available for the full 9 month contract
