Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) Explore & Develop Baulkham Hills
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment that supports children's learning, development and wellbeing, build meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues, promote children's rights, voices, agency and participation, work collaboratively with educators and leadership team to maintain high standards of education and care, and demonstrate a solid commitment to child safety, professional boundaries and safeguarding practices.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment that supports children's learning, development and wellbeing
Build meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Promote children's rights, voices, agency and participation
Work collaboratively with educators and leadership team to maintain high standards of education and care
Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety, professional boundaries and safeguarding practices
About you
Holds an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
Holds a current, valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment
Understands obligations under child protection legislation,



mandatory reporting requirements and the NSW Child Safe Standards
Demonstrates a commitment to active supervision, risk awareness and safe practices
Understands the importance of professional boundaries, respectful relationships and responding appropriately to child safety concerns
Has a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF
Is positive, reflective, reliable and passionate about making a difference in children's lives
Market-competitive salary of $80,000–$95,000 + superannuation, dependent on qualifications and experience
