Clinical Head of Paediatric Rehabilitation
You'll lead clinical standards across Optimum's paediatric physiotherapy services while still treating children yourself, with about 24 billable hours a week on your caseload. CLINICAL PRACTICE

CLINICAL LEADERSHIP
Lead clinical standards across our paediatric rehabilitation services and multiple clinics
Support clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence-based practice
Work with multidisciplinary teams to improve client outcomes and develop community and clinic-based paediatric services
MENTORING & EDUCATION




Provide individual mentoring and clinical supervision to Physiotherapists
Develop structured clinical education pathways
Deliver internal workshops and career development programs
Create online education courses for our Allied Health Professional Development Platform, with commission available through course sales and subscriptions
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy
Current General Registration with AHPRA
Approximately
5+ years' experience
in
paediatric physiotherapy
Extensive experience in the NDIS and community paediatric sector
Strong clinical skills across developmental, neurological and functional presentations
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
A passion for mentoring, supervision and clinician development
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Highly regarded:
Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Titled Paediatric Physiotherapist, or working towards titling
Experience delivering professional education, workshops or clinical training
Experience developing clinical education programs, supervision frameworks or learning resources
Previous leadership or senior clinician experience
