Level 1/2 Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist
Delmar Private Hospital is seeking Exercise Physiologists to join our dynamic, friendly and highly skilled multidisciplinary team in a Part-Time or Full Time capacity. We are seeking someone with experience in rehabilitation and a passion for high-quality client focused care, with the role being based across both Inpatient and Outpatient departments based on staffing requirements. You will work within a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team, providing evidence based treatment and striving for excellent patient outcomes.
About Us
Delmar Private Hospital has been servicing the local community for 50 years and is part of the Macquarie Health Group who operates 12 private hospitals across NSW and VIC.
Located in Dee Why, we offer inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for acute medical and surgical patients. This includes orthopaedic rehab, neurological rehab, reconditioning, falls and balance training as well as cardiac rehab in the form of our renowned Heart Wellness program and Pulmonary Rehabilitation program.
The Role
Evidence based assessment and treatment of patients in a busy and dynamic inpatient/outpatient setting (including conducting treadmill tests, 6 minute walk tests)




Emphasis on exercise based therapy with tailored individual and group-based programs in gym and hydrotherapy settings
Working collaboratively within the MDT (including Dietetics, Social work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Rehabilitation Physicians) for patient care, goal setting and discharge planning
Presenting health related educational content in group settings
We are seeking Exercise Physiologists for Full Time or Part-Time weekday work
Qualifications & Experience
Current and valid Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Registration
Current National Police Check and working with children clearance
Current Basic Life Support/CPR Certificate
Experience in a Rehabilitation/Cardiac or similar setting desirable
Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
Demonstrated application of sound clinical reasoning skills
