TRS Resourcing is currently recruiting experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics for an established transport maintenance business operating in Perth, Western Australia.

We are looking for qualified mechanics who take pride in their workmanship and have experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing prime movers, trailers and heavy commercial vehicles.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities working alongside a team of skilled technicians, you will be responsible for keeping heavy transport equipment operating safely and reliably.

Your duties will include:

- Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults
- Carrying out repairs to braking systems, suspension, steering and driveline components
- Investigating breakdowns and completing repairs to minimise vehicle downtime
- Conducting safety inspections and identifying potential mechanical issues




- Maintaining accurate service records and repair documentation
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety procedures

What You'll Bring We are interested in speaking with mechanics who have a strong understanding of heavy transport equipment and are confident working independently.

Ideally, you will have:

- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
- Previous experience servicing and repairing prime movers, trailers or heavy vehicles
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical faults
- Knowledge of air brakes, suspension, hydraulics and associated transport systems
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to completing repairs correctly
- A positive attitude towards safety, reliability and quality workmanship
