The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Orthopaedic Surgeon to support orthopaedic services in regional NSW.
This role is ideal for a consultant or VMO wanting a clear per-shift rate, with travel, accommodation and hire car covered so more of what you earn stays with you.
You will be integrated into the roster and may cover 24-hour on-call, trauma operating theatres or orthopaedic clinics depending on availability, with registrars rostered to support consultants across all settings. Ad hoc and block bookings are available for upcoming dates.

Clinical Environment
• Diverse and high-volume trauma caseload to maintain and refine your surgical expertise
• Well-supported department with registrar coverage to streamline workflow and reduce fatigue
• Modern theatres, inpatient care and clinic infrastructure for a smooth day-to-day practice
• Versatile clinical involvement across emergency and elective surgery, with control over shift types and structure

Requirements
• Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
• Fellowship with RACS (Orthopaedic Surgery) or equivalent
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Willingness to complete local onboarding and credentialing
