Monitor radio KPIs, perform audits, analyse performance trends, and recommend parameter changes.
Conduct drive testing and provide detailed RF analysis and reporting.
Troubleshoot RAN‑related issues and support service restoration activities.

Network Planning & Design

Perform detailed RF planning including coverage, capacity, and interference analysis.
Conduct spectrum planning, link budgeting, and site selection across diverse environments.
Ensure seamless integration of current macro, micro, and small cell sites with transmission and core networks.

Microwave Transmission

Plan and design microwave (MW) links including path and frequency planning.

Perform on‑site antenna alignment, acceptance testing, and MW performance optimisation.
Monitor MW KPIs and ensure all transmission paths meet operational standards.
Prepare link budget documentation and coordinate with vendors and field teams.

Performance, Optimisation & Capacity

Monitor real‑time network analytics and KPIs to maintain peak network performance.
Implement optimisation strategies to improve user experience and network efficiency.
Manage capacity upgrades as traffic and user demands evolve.
Support technology uplift programs (4G, 5G NSA/SA, and future technologies).

Innovation & Future Readiness

Contribute to testing and adoption of next‑gen radio technologies such as:

Massive MIMO
Carrier Aggregation
Open RAN

Ensure Vocus remains at the forefront of wireless engineering standards and best practice.
