Our client is a well-established Australian group with market-leading businesses across construction. They're delivering a pipeline of D365 integration projects and are adding an experienced D365 Technical Specialist to their Applications team.
You'll take ownership of development and integration work alongside an established technical team, building services that connect D365 with the wider systems landscape and keeping the platform running efficiently.
What you'll do
- Design, develop and maintain X++ customisations and extensions in D365 F&O;
- Build and support Azure-based integrations between D365 and third-party systems
- Write custom services that integrate D365 with other platforms
- Choose the right integration pattern for each scenario (DMF, OData, custom services)
- Manage, monitor and optimise batch jobs for performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot technical issues and work with functional consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Contribute to code reviews, deployments and technical documentation
What you'll bring
- Solid X++ development experience in D365 F&O;
- Hands-on experience with Azure integration services (e.g. Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, API Management)
- A clear understanding of integration patterns, and when to use DMF and when to use OData
- Proven experience writing services that integrate systems
- Experience managing and optimising batch jobs
- Familiarity with LCS, Azure DevOps and deployment processes
- A collaborative, problem-solving approach.
