The Opportunity:
We are seeking an adaptable and commercially-minded Senior Urban Designer to join the Melbourne studio.

This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on variety and is looking to take ownership of projects across diverse scales. You will be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of urban projects, from initial visioning and subdivision layouts to final planning documentation. You will have responsibility for:

- Preparation of masterplans, concept plans, subdivision layouts and structure plans for greenfield and new community projects
- Production of high-quality urban design drawings, reports and presentation material
- Taking ownership of project tasks and keep them moving with minimal supervision




- Working closely with planners, engineers, landscape architects and clients
- Supporting and mentor junior team members where needed

To be Successful:
The successful applicant will possess:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in urban design.
- Strong technical skills, with confidence working in a hands-on capacity.
- Proven experience in subdivision and current community design.
- Australian urban design experience (essential).
- Victorian experience (highly regarded), including familiarity with PSPs, the Victoria Planning Provisions and local precinct structure planning.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Urban Design, Planning, Landscape Architecture or Architecture.
