About the position:

Our client is seeking a skilled and organised Family Lawyer with at least 2 years PAE to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on clients' lives by handling complex and rewarding family law cases, including property settlements, child custody, and divorce. Additionally, you will work on other legal matters such as criminal law and domestic violence, providing comprehensive legal solutions.

You will receive dedicated mentorship and career guidance, ensuring you have a clear and structured pathway to senior and partnership roles. Your progress and achievements will be recognised and rewarded, providing ample opportunities for skilled growth.

Key Responsibilities:





- Provide expert legal advice and representation in family law and general practice matters
- Consult with prospective clients to efficiently resolve their legal problems
- Draft legal documents and correspondence across various legal areas
- Represent clients in court for mentions and interim hearings
- Participate in mediations and conciliation conferences
- Mentor and support graduate lawyers in their career growth
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal procedures

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years PAE in Family Law or General Practice
- Hold a practicing certificate issued by the Queensland Law Society
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple files, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in legal research and document drafting
