About the role

Nundah Doctors Surgery Wavell Heights is seeking a dedicated, experienced Registered Nurse to join their team on a part-time or full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with general medical and surgical experience to contribute to the effective and compassionate care of patients at our well-established GP clinic in Wavell Heights, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications, dressing wounds, and monitoring vital signs

- Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and patient education

- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records

- Collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of service

- Adhering to all relevant medical and nursing standards, policies, and procedures

- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of nursing practices and patient outcomes

What we're looking for

- Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role, preferably in a GP clinic or primary care setting

- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology,



such as using Best Practice software

- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care

- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

- Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency).

- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencement).
