Kalbarri Motor Hotel are looking for an experienced Sous Chef with permanent working rights in Australia. Sorry no Sponsorship available. Applicants with temporary working rights will not be considered.

Located in the heart of the Tourism town of Kalbarri our busy establishment includes Restaurant, Bar, Bottleshop and Motel Units.

The role is full time (38 hours/week). We are willing to negotiate pay with the right candidate.

As Sous Chef your duties will include;

- Assisting Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes

- Assist with service prep, ensuring all relevant food is prepared for service

- Producing high quality plates both taste and presentation wise

- Ensure meals prepared in timely manner

- Monitor and record inventory, ordering supplies





- Provide support to junior kitchen employees

- Supervising all kitchen staff

- Training of current kitchen employees

- Adhere to work safety & hygiene standards

- Current food safety certifications must be held at time of application

- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment

- Minimum of 4+ years kitchen experience is required as you will be expected to run the team when Chef is off or away.

- Sous chef experience is essential for this position.

- Minimum of 2 years sous chef experience is required for this role
