Join Our Growing Team!

Amplify Building Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Manufacturer / Installer to join our team!

We specialise in the manufacture and installation of custom shrouds, screens, gates and garage doors, providing tailored solutions to suit our clients’ needs. From custom fabrication through to the installation of roller, sectional and tilt garage doors, including motors, we take pride in delivering quality workmanship and reliable results.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, takes pride in what they do and wants to be part of a growing business. A background in carpentry would be ideal, although experience in garage doors, gates, fabrication or a similar trade will also be highly regarded.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role involving both workshop manufacturing and on-site installation. You’ll be involved in producing custom products and installing them for our clients, so no two days will necessarily be the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manufacturing garage doors and gates, with additional fabrication work depending on client requirements.

- Installing custom shrouds, screens, gates and garage doors.

- Installing roller, sectional and tilt garage doors, including motors.

- Carrying out garage door and gate installations, removals and replacements.

- Using a variety of power tools, hand tools and equipment.

- Performing in office measurements as required.

- Operating a forklift for loading and unloading materials.

- Handling materials and completing manual tasks, including heavy lifting where required.

- Working safely and efficiently in both the workshop and on-site.

- Following instructions and working alongside the team to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who is reliable, practical and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A background in carpentry or a related trade.

- Confidence and experience using a variety of power tools and hand tools. Previous welding experience is advantageous but not essential.

- Experience installing and removing garage doors and gates (highly regarded).

- Previous experience in the garage door, gate or fabrication industry (a bonus).

- A current driver’s licence (essential).

- Forklift operating experience and/or a current forklift licence (advantageous).

- The ability to follow direction, take instruction and work well as part of a team.

- Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and productively.

- A positive attitude, initiative and a willingness to get stuck in.

- The physical capability to undertake manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting where required.

You don’t need to know everything from day one, but you must have experience using tools, be willing to learn, follow instructions and take pride in the quality of your work.

Employment Details & Working Hours

This is a full-time position with the following standard working hours:

- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

- Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm

Flexibility is essential, as some jobs may run longer than expected due to unexpected issues on-site, additional work requirements or installation challenges.

Applicants must be willing to work reasonable overtime when required to ensure jobs are completed safely and to a high standard. We need someone who understands that things don’t always go to plan and is prepared to be versatile when jobs take longer than initially anticipated.

Reliability, adaptability and a team-first attitude are key to succeeding in this role.
