An established and growing residential builder operating within the investment and wholesale housing market is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery new home builds in the Ballarat region.

With a growing pipeline of projects, this is an opportunity to join a business focused on expanding its presence in the regional Victorian market. You’ll play a key role in delivering quality residential developments, managing trade partners and driving construction programmes in a structured, commercially focused environment.

This role will suit a hands-on Site Manager who understands residential construction, values build efficiency and can confidently manage projects from site start through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and materials to maintain construction progress.
- Drive site productivity, build sequencing and programme milestones.
- Monitor build quality and ensure works meet relevant building standards and compliance requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and regular progress meetings.
- Maintain a secure working environment and ensure OH&S; compliance.
- Identify and resolve construction issues to minimise delays and unnecessary costs.
- Work closely with Construction Managers and internal teams to maintain programme,



budget and quality expectations.
- Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, consistently and to the required standard.

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor within residential construction.
- Trade qualification, with Carpentry highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, sequencing and building standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site productivity.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on programme, quality and cost control.
- Sound knowledge of OH&S; requirements and residential construction compliance.
