About the Role
They are looking for an experienced Stock Manager to take ownership of the back-of-house operation within their busy Brisbane DFO outlet store. This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to stay organised, prioritise effectively and maintain exceptional stock standards will have a direct impact on the success of a high-volume retail environment.
Working closely with the Store Manager and leadership team, you'll ensure inventory is accurate, deliveries are processed efficiently and the sales floor is always fully replenished and ready for trade.
As Stock Manager, you will:
- Lead all back-of-house stock operations
- Receive, process and organise daily deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock integrity
- Coordinate replenishment to keep the shop floor customer ready
- Manage stockroom organisation and maintain exceptional housekeeping standards
- Support stocktakes, inventory investigations and loss prevention processes
- Work closely with the leadership team to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations
- Lead and support stock-focused team members where required
What you'll bring
- Previous experience in a Stock Manager, Inventory Manager or senior stock-focused retail role
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Confidence managing high volumes of stock in a fast-paced retail environment
- Experience with inventory control and stock management systems
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented working style
- Pride in creating efficient systems and keeping operations running smoothly
