- Investigate non-compliant plumbing and drainage matters and work with stakeholders to achieve appropriate outcomes.
- Prepare accurate reports, correspondence, notices and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to a safe, supportive and collaborative team culture aligned with Council's values of curiosity, connection, commitment, courage and care.

This role will suit an experienced plumbing professional who enjoys solving technical problems, working with a broad range of people and delivering positive community outcomes.

About you:

To be successful, you will need:

- The ability to interpret plans and technical information, conduct inspections and apply legislation, policies and procedures consistently.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet statutory timeframes and coordinate inspection schedules.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills, including the confidence to explain technical issues, negotiate outcomes and manage challenging situations professionally.
- Competence using Microsoft Office and corporate information systems.
- A flexible, solutions-focused approach and commitment to protected, collaborative work practices.

It would be advantageous if you also have:
