What you'll be doing

- Carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on underground mobile plant

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults





- Completing preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

- Working on underground hard rock mining equipment, including loaders, boggers, underground trucks and drills

- Ensuring all maintenance is completed safely and to a high standard

- Working collaboratively with site teams to minimise equipment downtime

What we're looking for

- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting or equivalent trade qualification

- Previous experience as an Underground Diesel Fitter in hard rock mining

- Robust diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills

- Experience with underground mobile equipment such as Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT or similar OEMs

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required

- Current Australian working rights
