Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing fresh, nutritious and age-appropriate meals and snacks for children each day.
- Developing engaging and varied menus that meet children's nutritional requirements.
- Catering for individual dietary requirements, allergies, intolerances and cultural preferences.
- Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Managing kitchen stock, ordering supplies and minimising food waste.
- Working collaboratively with educators and centre leadership to create positive mealtime experiences.
- Supporting children's curiosity about food, healthy eating and nutrition.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant food safety regulations and organisational policies.

About You We're looking for someone who brings warmth, creativity and a genuine love of cooking to everything they do.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook, ideally within an early childhood education setting.




- A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge of food safety practices and food handling requirements.
- Confidence preparing nutritious meals for large groups of children.
- An understanding of food allergies, dietary requirements and safe food preparation.
- Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's health, happiness and wellbeing.

Experience in early childhood education is highly regarded, but we also welcome applications from passionate chefs looking to bring their skills into a rewarding new environment!
