Sunkids Ormiston is a long-standing Bayside favourite beside Ormiston State School, caring for 85 children across 5 learning rooms. We're looking for a Senior Educator to lead one of our rooms, mentor a team of educators and set the standard for quality practice.

The Senior Educator has primary responsibility for providing a nurturing, secure environment for the children and providing appropriate daily experiences.

What you'll do

- Lead the planning, delivery and documentation of your room's program
- Mentor and coach educators, modelling best practice every day




- Build strong partnerships with families
- Own room routines, ratios, health and safety
- Work with the Educational Leader and Centre Manager to meet and exceed the National Quality Standard

What you'll bring

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- At least 2 years' experience, ideally leading a room
- A valid Queensland Blue Card
- Current first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certificates
- Confidence with the EYLF, NQF and documentation
