Medium-term assignments | Workshop assembly and site installations
Construct Personnel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter / Machine Installer for medium-term assignments with a family-owned business offering a great work workplace.
The role primarily involves assembling machines in the workshop, with opportunities to install completed machinery at client sites across Melbourne and further afield.
About the role
- Assemble, fit and align machinery and mechanical components.
- Undertake a broad range of mechanical fitting and maintenance work.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues during assembly and testing.
- Assist with machinery installations at client sites as required.
- Work safely and contribute to a supportive workshop team.
About you
- Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter or Mechanical Fitter.
- Broad experience across maintenance and mechanical fitting.
- Experience assembling machinery and working from engineering drawings.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a workshop for the majority of the assignment.
- Willing to travel to client sites for installation work when required.
- Reliable, practical and able to work independently or as part of a team.
