TalentEx Employment Group is recruiting an Accountant for a multi-franchise dealership group based in Sunbury, Victoria. This is a full-time, on-site role within the group's corporate and support team.

About the role

You will look after the day-to-day accounting for a busy dealership group, helping keep the financials accurate, timely and ready for management to use.

- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and reconciliations

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Process and reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries

- Prepare BAS and other statutory reporting

- Support month-end and year-end close processes

- Work with dealership and department managers to answer financial queries

- Assist with budgets, forecasts and audit requests

What we offer

- $90,000 – $110,000

What you'll need

- Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent qualification

- Proven experience in a general accounting or accountant role

- Solid knowledge of month-end reporting, reconciliations and BAS

- Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- Solid attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

- Experience in automotive retail is an advantage

- Full working rights in Australia — no visa sponsorship offered
