About the role

Heritage Finance is an established Australian commercial and asset finance brokerage, built on trusted client relationships that often span decades. With significant opportunity for growth in Queensland, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance & Credit Manager to join our close-knit Brisbane team. Working directly with the Queensland business leader, you will take ownership of financial analysis, credit submissions, lender applications and settlements. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong professional who values autonomy, sound judgement and exceptional client delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Analyse and spread financial statements, assess cash flow, serviceability and key credit risks

- Prepare high-quality information memorandums, credit papers and commercial lending submissions

- Structure and manage asset and commercial finance applications across bank and non-bank lenders

- Liaise with clients, lenders and advisers to resolve queries, meet approval conditions and progress transactions

- Coordinate documentation and settlements, taking ownership of accuracy, timelines and client communication





- Identify process improvements and use technology, including AI and automation, to improve efficiency while maintaining quality

About you

- Ideally 3–5+ years in commercial banking, business lending, asset finance, credit analysis or finance broking

- Proven financial spreading, credit writing and lending submission experience; robust Excel skills

- Sound understanding of commercial credit, lending structures and the finance process through to settlement

- Excellent written communication, attention to detail and a client-first approach

- A self-starting mindset: initiative, accountability, practical problem-solving and the ability to work independently

- Confidence learning different systems and an interest in using emerging technology to improve workflows
