Join our team for the busy summer season

South West Suds is a local commercial laundry based in Port Fairy, providing linen services to accommodation and hospitality businesses across south-west Victoria.

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic casual Laundry Hands to help our team through the Christmas and summer period. You do not need previous laundry experience—training will be provided.

Start dates are available from Monday 19 October 2026, with seasonal work expected through to 31 January 2027. Morning and afternoon shifts may be available, with the potential for weekend work. Shifts will depend on business requirements and your availability.

About the role

You will help keep our laundry moving and ensure our customers receive clean, neatly presented linen. Your duties may include:

- Sorting linen and preparing items for washing.

- Assisting with washing, drying and finishing equipment, following training and protected operating procedures.

- Folding, checking, counting and packing linen ready for delivery.

- Keeping work areas clean and organised, and following hygiene and safe manual-handling procedures.

This is an active, hands-on role involving standing,



repetitive tasks and moving linen, bags and trolleys in a busy commercial laundry.

About you

We are looking for people who are dependable, punctual and willing to learn. You will need to follow instructions, work safely, pay attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team.

Previous laundry, cleaning, hospitality or production experience would be helpful, but is not essential. A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute are important.

Pay and conditions

Pay and conditions are in accordance with the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Industry Award 2020, at the classification appropriate to the role and your skills and experience. Casual rates include casual loading, with superannuation and applicable penalty rates and allowances paid in accordance with relevant requirements.
