About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-established and highly respected chartered accounting firm based in Sydney that is looking to welcome an experienced Bookkeeper to its growing team.

The Role

Working alongside a friendly and experienced team, you'll manage bookkeeping requirements for a portfolio of clients while providing accurate and timely financial support.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Bank and credit card reconciliations

- Payroll processing, STP and superannuation

- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Preparing management reports and financial data

- Maintaining accurate client records

- Liaising directly with clients and responding to bookkeeping queries





- Supporting accountants with year-end preparation

About You

- Previous bookkeeping experience within a public practice accounting firm

- Solid working knowledge of Xero (MYOB experience is also beneficial)

- Experience processing payroll and preparing BAS

- Excellent communication and client relationship skills

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
