About the role

The Stores & Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the effective day-to-day operation of P&M; Automotive Equipment's warehouse, including inventory management, parts ordering, receipting, storage, dispatch and coordination of equipment required for installations and service work. The role supports metro, regional and mine site operations by ensuring parts, tools and equipment are available, accurately recorded and dispatched on time.

Key responsibilities

- Manage daily warehouse organisation and maintain accurate records for parts, consumables, equipment and accessories.

- Monitor stock levels, establish minimum and maximum quantities and coordinate replenishment.

- Conduct stocktakes, investigate discrepancies and identify obsolete, damaged or slow-moving stock.

- Ensure stock is labelled, safely stored and easily located; maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.

- Raise purchase orders with approved suppliers within delegated purchasing limits.

- Monitor outstanding orders, delivery dates, shortages and supplier discrepancies.

- Liaise with local, interstate and international suppliers; coordinate returns, credits and warranty claims.

- Receive, inspect and reconcile goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation.





- Prepare customer and technician orders, packaging, freight bookings and consignment documentation.

- Coordinate and track freight to Perth, regional WA and mine sites.

About you

- Experience in stores, warehousing, inventory control or parts management.

- Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.

- Purchasing, goods receipting, dispatch and accurate data-entry skills.

- Computer literacy, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Current driver's licence and capacity to safely perform physical duties.

- Current LF forklift licence, experienced operator (highly desirable) with racking equipment and unloading containers.

- Automotive, mechanical, industrial or mining equipment parts experience (highly desirable).

- Regional WA freight logistics and inventory/job management software experience (highly desirable).

- Understanding hydraulic components, mechanical parts and workshop consumables (highly desirable).
