Working closely with the Information Services Operations Manager, this role is key to administering the School’s core IT infrastructure, including system integrations, identity management, databases, servers, virtualisation and network environments. You will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and maintaining robust technical solutions that support the School's day-to-day operations and strategic direction.

The successful applicant will be a proactive technical expert with strong problem-solving skills, deep knowledge across infrastructure and data systems, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of governance, confidentiality, and child safety.

Manage automated identity lifecycle processes (provisioning, role changes, and deprovisioning) across cloud and directory systems.
- Database & Data Management: Oversee database health, performance, and structure. Execute and monitor ETL data workflows for the School’s data warehouse, and construct operational reports and BI dashboards.
- Infrastructure & Network Administration: Administer physical network hardware (switches, routers, wireless access points) and virtual server environments (resource allocation, host maintenance,

performance monitoring). Conduct routine backups, archiving, and disaster recovery testing.
- Security & System Governance: Implement and maintain robust security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, access management). Collect and analyze performance, bandwidth, and security logs to support threat mitigation and capacity planning.
- Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for network layouts, server builds, and API workflows. Engage in continuous professional learning, stay current with industry trends, and participate in school working groups.
- Child Safeguarding: Actively promote a child-safe environment by upholding mandatory reporting processes and ensuring child safeguarding concerns are promptly addressed.
