As an Accounting Officer in our accounting and tax team (2-4 days per week), you'll help prepare financial statements and tax returns for a variety of clients, working alongside experienced managers who'll help you build your technical skills.

- Help prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
n
- Support clients to understand their tax obligations and due dates so they can plan ahead.
n
- Assist with business advisory work such as budgets, cash flow forecasts and management reporting.
n
- Keep client records and work papers accurate and in line with Findex compliance requirements.
n
- Liaise with the ATO and other authorities on behalf of clients, with support from your manager.
n
- Use standardised workflows and automation to improve efficiency and consistency.

What you will bring to the role nn
- Completed or working towards an accounting qualification
n
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience,
