About the Role

Leadership: reports to Ali Sadreddini, AI Apps & Data Practice Lead in Sydney.

Forward Deployed Engineer Principal will embed with client teams to deliver high-impact AI and data solutions end-to-end—from discovery to deployment, enablement and handover.

Responsibilities:

- Discover & Frame: Run discovery workshops, translate business problems into solution architecture, identify smallest valuable slice, surface constraints early.
- Build & Deploy: Architecture and delivery of production-grade solutions across full stack (data pipelines, APIs, UIs, agentic workflows, ML/LLM components).
- Enable & Embed: Pair with client engineers to build capability, run workshops and create lasting documentation.
- Shape Insight's Future: Capture patterns into accelerator library, support product opportunities, mentor FDEs.

What We're Looking For

- Production-Grade Engineering: Real software shipped through full lifecycle delivery; consulting or embedded experience.
- Full-Stack Technical Depth:



Python, .NET/C#, TypeScript, SQL; cloud (Azure preferred); data engineering, LLM/agent development; API design; git, Docker, CI/CD, IaC.
- AI & Contemporary Development Fluency: AI coding agents, LLM patterns, Azure AI services, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code.
- Commercial & Leadership Acumen: Fixed-price unit economics, communication with CTOs and users, issue resolution at engagement level.
