About The Role:

We are looking for a Warehouse & Inventory Operator to join our team.

This is hands-on warehouse role responsible for receiving incoming freight, picking and preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring the warehouse operates in a safe, organised and effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or store person experience and take pride in accuracy, organization and getting the job done. Experience or knowledge of industrial consumables, abrasives, welding products, safety products or PPE would be highly advantageous but willing to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, check and organise incoming freight
- Unload and put away stock in the appropriate warehouse locations
- Accurately pick, prepare, pack customer orders for delivery or collection




- Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stocktakes
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised and efficiently laid out
- Assist with inventory control and stock management
- Assist with deliveries to customer locations when required
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Identify stock discrepancies, damaged goods or inventory issues
- Assist with general warehouse and operational duties

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

- Has a minimum of 3 years warehouse, store person or similar experience
- Holds a current forklift licence
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work
- Has good organisational and time management skills
- Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Has a current driver's licence
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Has good computer skills and is comfortable working with inventory systems
- Has experience or product knowledge in industrial consumables, abrasives, welding, safety or PPE (advantageous)
