Mr88 Barber Shop is seeking an experienced and skilled Barber to join our team in West End, QLD. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional grooming services in a energetic, professional barbering workplace. As a Barber, you will be at the heart of our business, providing high-quality haircuts, shaves and grooming treatments to our valued clientele. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring every customer leaves our shop looking and feeling their best.

Key responsibilities

- Provide professional haircut and styling services to clients, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Perform traditional and contemporary shaving techniques, including straight razor shaves and beard grooming
- Consult with clients to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate styles and treatments
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and well-organised workstation at all times
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and barbering industry standards
- Build and maintain positive client relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately
- Keep up to date with current barbering trends and techniques
- Contribute to a welcoming and professional atmosphere within the shop

What we’re looking for

- Recognised barbering qualification or apprenticeship completion
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional barbering experience
- Proficiency in classic and up-to-date barbering techniques,



including clipper work, scissor techniques and straight razor shaving
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity during busy periods
- Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards relevant to barbering
- A passion for the barbering trade and commitment to continuous professional development
- Reliability and punctuality
