THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF... n

You’re the person who can walk into a kitchen, look at what needs to be done and get things moving.

You’ll be comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a kitchen, producing meals for residents, working with kitchen hands and making sure food is safe, appropriate and served to a high standard.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING n

n
- Preparing and cooking meals for residents
n
- Managing the day-to-day kitchen operation
n
- Working alongside and directing kitchen hands
n
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion requirements
n
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed
n
- Checking stock, supplies and food quality
n
- Following individual dietary and facility requirements
n

WHAT YOU'LL NEED nn
- Experience working as a Chef or Cook in Aged Care and/or Hospital settings
n
- Minimum 3 months' paid industry experience
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher qualification
n
- Food Safety & Handling Certificate
n
- Valid National Police Check
n
- COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with applicable state requirements
n
- Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and mobile phone
n

Availability to work weekdays

n
