More Than Tax is a dynamic, boutique cloud-based accounting firm located in Hawthorn East that offers a wide array of services to our highly esteemed SME clients in various industries; incorporating accounting, taxation and business advisory services.

We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated candidate with excellent communication skills and someone who thrives in a collaborative environment to join our growing team at our Hawthorn East/Camberwell office.

n

This is an in-office role, and applicants must be willing to work onsite as part of our collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Preparation of Financials and Income Tax Returns of various entities including individuals, partnership, trusts, companies and SMSFs
n
- Preparation of Activity Statements
n
- Accounts reconciliation
n
- Preparation of FBT returns, TPAR, Payroll Tax Annual Reconciliation
n
- Identifying and assisting with tax research and advice on SME tax matters
n
- Assistance with year-end tax planning and advice
n
- Assistance with various cloud-based accounting software and bookkeeping queries
n
- Assistance with single touch payroll, income statements, superannuation, workcover etc.
n
- Liaison with clients, ATO, other statutory bodies and stakeholders
n
- Liaison and providing support to outsourced personnel
n

The Ideal Candidate nn




- 1-2 years experience in business services/taxation
n
- Commenced CPA or fully qualified
n
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
n
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills
n
- Self-Driven and results oriented
n
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task and work well in a team
n
- Excellent computer and software skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
n
- Experience in Xero and BGL360 will be highly regarded
n
- Committed to continuous development and provide exceptional service to clients
n
