CAREER OPPORTUNITY | HEAVY DIESEL MECHANIC – BROOME, WA

$70–$80 per hour | 50-hour working week | Workshop-based

Horizon Mining Energy and Civil (HMEC) is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Broome operations, supporting clients across the mining, energy, civil construction and transport sectors.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson seeking a stable, hands-on role with diverse technical challenges and the opportunity to contribute to a well-established, WA-owned business.

THE CHANCE n

Working within our Broome workshop, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a diverse range of heavy diesel equipment, including mining and civil machinery and road transport vehicles.

The position offers a varied workload, consistent hours and occasional field service requirements throughout the Kimberley region.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR n

- Demonstrated experience in diagnostics, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
n
- Strong technical problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
n
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively within a team environment
n
- Commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence
n
- Previous Leading Hand or Supervisory experience will be highly regarded.
