The Plant Management Company is looking for enthusiastic, skilled gardeners to join our Hope Island team on a casual basis. You’ll use your horticultural skills to maintain and improve outdoor spaces across the Gold Coast, delivering premium landscape and garden maintenance.
This is a full-time-hours casual role: 38 hours a week, with early starts and early finishes.
What you’ll do
Maintain garden beds, lawns and outdoor areas: weeding, pruning and general upkeep
Plant trees and shrubs to landscape designs and client specifications
Prepare soil and apply fertilisers, mulch and other soil improvers
Operate and maintain equipment, including mowers, hedge trimmers and hand tools
Follow health and safety standards on every site
Work closely with supervisors and teammates so jobs are finished well and on time
What we’re looking for
Safe, confident use of gardening and landscaping equipment
Sound knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs and good horticultural practice
The fitness to do physical work outdoors
Attention to detail and pride in quality work
Able to work on your own and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual
Chemical application or horticulture qualifications (a bonus)
