Barracrab Caravan Park, Clairview, nestled 120km south of Mackay is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and pristine grounds. We are seeking a hands-on, motivated Assistant Park Manager to support the Park Manager in delivering an unforgettable holiday experience for our guests.

BarraCrab is a family owned and run caravan park. We have absolute beach frontage and provide travelers with a unique and friendly holiday experience, committed to creating memorable experiences for guests and residents while ensuring sustainable, high-quality operations.

Your Role

As the Assistant Park Manager, you'll work closely with the Park Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the park. You'll assist with everything from guest services, staff coordination and administration. When the Park Manager is on leave or rostered days off, you'll step up to manage the park's operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in overseeing all aspects of park operations, including reception,



End of business day till balances, Stock take, housekeeping, grounds, and maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service, including managing bookings, responding to enquiries, and resolving guest concerns.
- Support staff training and inductions.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, emergency procedures, and company policies.

What You'll Need

- Previous experience in holiday park operations, hospitality, or similar (qualifications in Hospitality Management or related field desirable).
- RSA and RMLV
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly.
- Well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Practical skills and willingness to "pitch in" across different areas of the park.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and reservation/property management systems.
- Current driver's licence (First Aid Certificate and National Police Check desirable).
