This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with a few years of experience looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and delivering insightful reporting that drives business performance.

Job Responsibilities n

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
n
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
n
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
n
- Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and tax regulations
n
- Support BAS, GST, FBT, and payroll tax reporting
n
- Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit schedules
n




- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
n
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
n

Requirements nn
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
n
- With 3–5 years of accounting experience in a commercial or public practice workplace
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and regulatory requirements
n
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
n
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities
n
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
