Field Application Engineer (RF / Industry Solutions)

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer to join our Australian team and play a key role in turning customer requirements into practical, high-performance solutions.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer engagement.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will work closely with customers, partners and our sales team to understand application requirements, recommend solutions and support projects from concept through to delivery. You will be at the forefront of emerging technologies, helping customers solve complex connectivity challenges while contributing to the growth of our Industry business.

Key responsibilities

- Provide technical consultation and application support across our connectivity solutions portfolio
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and develop tailored solutions
- Support business development activities by identifying and progressing new opportunities
- Manage technical enquiries, product selection and solution design activities
- Contribute to quotations, tenders, proposals and project execution
- Liaise with global product management,



engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- Deliver product training, presentations and technical demonstrations
- Maintain accurate customer and project information within CRM systems
- Monitor market trends, applications and customer requirements to support future growth

About you

You are a technically capable and commercially aware engineer who enjoys building strong customer relationships and solving complex problems.

You will bring:

- A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications or RF Engineering
- Experience in Field Application Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Support or a similar customer-facing engineering role
- Knowledge of RF, fibre optic, connectivity, industrial networking or related technologies
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and commercial audiences
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- A willingness to travel to support customers and business activities
